We took a trip to the pumpkin patch with our neighbors this fall. Aaron is behind the camera. Here we are riding the hayless hayride out to pick out our pumpkin. Poor Elijah was so cold.

Tuckered out after a fun day.
This summer we visited my family in Kansas City. One day we took a trip to Deanna Rose, a great big petting zoo with lots of animals. It is great for little ones. Elijah wasn’t quite as interested in the animals as he was in walking around on the ground. Next time should be more fun now that he’s a bit older.

For Aaron’s birthday he specifically told me not to waste my time on a special cake for him but I was bound and determined to remake the light saber cake that started make adventures in cake decorating. So this was a very, very fast attempt but it still beats the light saber of a few years ago. (About the candles, all I could find in the house was a 2 so we improvised.)
This was the original. Trust me it looked really bad up close.
Elijah came over to hang out one night so his parents could have a date night out together. Bath time is much more fun with a friend!
