It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved the holidays. It’s fun to experience the magic of Christmas again through the eyes of my son.
We started the season off making Christmas cookies!
Sink Bath

Pumpkin Patch
We headed to the pumpkin patch in October for our second annual trip with the Fulkerson-Smith’s. This year we stay much closer to home.

4th of July 2011
We spent the 4th of July with Grandma Janet and Grandpa Guy and the Fulkerson-Smith clan. Here’s Janet holding Elijah and baby Kennedy looking adorable in her flag dress.

For my last trip during this pregnancy, we took a train to Kansas City for Jill and Kyle’s wedding. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of Jill and Kyle. But here is one with the beautiful bride and I!

Summer Fun with the Fulkerson-Smith’s
We miss our old neighbors. It was nice living next door to a great family with a little boy Elijah’s age. So we always look forward to times when the boys can get together to play. The boys had a blast one Saturday in June playing in the pool and eating popsicles.
They are great about hugging on command!

Elijah’s 2nd Birthday Party
We had Elijah’s 2nd birthday party in our new house this year. He loves trains so of course we went with a train theme. Below we are opening a few pre-party gifts so the kids could all play with train sets.
He is very excited!
The cake, all edible fondant over a banana cake with vanilla buttercream.
The cupcakes were chocolate with peanut butter buttercream. Mmmmmm.

Elijah also loves airplanes, so we got him an airplane fork at MOMA. He loves eating with it.
Elijah is always trying to play with Aaron’s tools so we got him his own toolset. Jackson and Elijah has a blast checking them out.

Jack’s Birthday Party
The Saturday of Easter weekend we went to the All Aboard Cafe to celebrate his cousin Jack’s 3rd birthday. It is a brilliant concept, a whole restaurant about trains! All of the kids sit at the counter and a little train drives around and brings them their food. Elijah was fascinated! He actually sat in this chair all by himself.
