We spent Christmas in Kansas City this year with my family.  Elijah adores trains so a trip to Union Station was in order! Elijah’s favorite book this winter was The Polar Express, likely because of the subject matter, no doubt. He was very excited about this poster and kept pointing and saying “Choo Choo”.

And then, tucked in corner we stumbled upon none other than Thomas the Train himself!  Oh boy, this was big.

We stood here for probably 20 minutes at least watching the trains go in circles.

Other kids came and went, Elijah stayed.
